NickAn expert in speed efficient training and "Hill" training.  He is the current Speed & Specialties Coach for the nationally acclaimed Flint Hill School.  Helped the 2006 Huskies capture their 1st Football championship in 50 years. The Huskies repeated again 2007.  Held similar position at perenially ranked Bishop O'Connell High School in previous years. He has produced more than 400 champions and standouts over a decade with many going onto higher pursuits - college/pro. Certified in several trainer disciplines in addition to USATF, Nike SPARQ Trainer and Positive Coaching Alliance Member. Selected as an Ambassador-Coach for the 2006-2007 Powerbar Elite Team. A true Renaissance Man , Mr. Savage has practiced and preached his beliefs on Speed and Sport Specific Training.. A former member of 2005 Special Forces Unlimited Basketball Loudoun County Champions at the Masters Division. Certified Balck Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Former (ATA) American Tae Kwon Do 3rd Place Finish in Miami Regional Finals. An Area Finalist in Toastmasters International, Mr. Savage has spoken globally for Nike on Speed and participated in several national and global conferences.  He also loves to train his masters clients using his background in Hip Hop and a Silver Place finish in a Florida Swing Dance Competition.

Maryland High School State Champion and record holder in the Triple, and hurdles in 1978. Competed for University of Wisconsin track & field and football 1978-83. Nominated Academic All-Big Ten 1982.  Received several professional football offers prior to opting to dedicate to help children achieve success in the world of sports, the arts, technology, and business.

Founder of The SWEAT Program (Scholastic Workshop for Excellence and Athletic Training) 1989 - 93 in Florida working with the Miami Heat, Dolphins and other professional athletes. Coached thousands of kids over the past twenty years from the pre-school to the high school level in Florida, Maryland and Virginia teams for track, football, basketball baseball and soccer. Executive Director for Special Forces Unlimited Inc. and co-founder of Special Forces Track Club. Inventor of the “The Hill™” speed and multi-purpose training device. President of Mercury Speed Unlimited and the creator of Mercury Speed Think™ methodologies providing performance and speed conditioning services for individuals and teams in the Tri-State area.

 

Coach AllenCoach Allen is currently ranked in the top 25 in the World in 2006 in triple jump (yes ... the World!), with a distance of 17.02m. Former George Mason student/athlete and USC Graduate. In training for 2008 Olympics.  Current personal bests include Triple Jump: 17.26m/56-7.5 and Long Jump: 8.02m/26-3.75. 

Known as a talented long and triple jumper, Simms was a 4-time All-Met while attending Eleanor Roosevelt High in Greenbelt MD. During college Simms grabbed his first U.S. title in 2004 with his triple jump win at the 2004 USA Indoor Championships in Boston. As a USC sophomore in 2003, Simms established himself as one of the nation's best triple jumpers with a win at the NCAA Indoor Championships, his third-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and his fifth-place finish at the USA Outdoor Championships. In 2005 Simms finished runner-up at NCAA outdoor Champs and competed the World Champs placing 13th overall. He competed in the World Indoor Championships in Moscow in March 2006. Competing now for Puerto Rico he currently has the National Record. In addition to his quest for a 2008 Gold Medal, Coach Simms is former Sprints and Jumps coach at Heritage High School and current assistant coach and advisor for a prep school in Charlottesville.

 

Kevin Raymond Coach Kevin Raymond: Although soft-spoken and a rookie in the business, he's one of the most gifted runners and dynamic certified performance trainers in the industry. This rising star has been involved in the sports industry at the highest level. As a trainer and instructor, Coach Raymond, received his education in Physiology and a Certificate in Teaching and Education from the G.C.Foster college of Physical Education and Sports in Jamaica. With eight stellar years of experience in track and field, Kevin was notorious in the 400 meters and the mile relay.  As a young standout Mr. Raymond ran a 46.72 at the Boys Championship of Jamaica.

In the past he has finished first place in the 400m with a time of 45.80 seconds at the Intercollegiate Championships of Jamaica in 2002. A three time All-American Finalist in the 4*400 at Penn Relays in 2000, 2001, and 2002, an All American finalist in the 4*800 relays in 2000 and a gold medalist in the club invitations in the 4*400 relays at the 2006 Penn Relays, Mr. Raymond has the ability to demonstrate, interact and take the clients to the highest level with a smile, patience, and understanding. In Mr. Raymond's words, "There are performers that love to SHOW their skills to others.  I want to GIVE my skills to others!"

Coach Stevie Alabi: "I was born with a soccer ball attached to my foot." Born in Ghana and raised in the UK, this flyer is another rising star in the performance training industry, a former UK star is the staff "rock" that understands the needs and desires for Amercan soccer players and the Northern Virginia soccer community;

After emerging as a two sport star athlete in track and soccer at George Mason University, Mr. Alabi succumbed to several nagging injuries. A leading scorer known for his intense speed, athleticism, and footwork. Upon completion of his collegiate career with degrees in Sports Management and Marketing, Mr. Alabi returned to consult in marketing and develop his training skills in the sports industry assisting elite teams in Annondale, Mc lean and other premier organizations before joining the Mercury team.  In addition to his training skills, Coach Alabi will ensure quality programs are developed for the major events and provide the primary input for the development of the soccer program.
