Coached thousands of kids over the past twenty years from the pre-school to the high school level in Florida, Maryland and Virginia teams for track, football, basketball and soccer. President of Mercury Speed Unlimited and the creator of Mercury Speed Think™ methodologies providing performance and speed conditioning services for individuals and teams in the Tri-State area.

(yes ... the World!), with a distance of 17.02m. Former George Mason
student/athlete and USC Graduate. In training for 2008 Olympics.
Current personal bests include Triple Jump: 17.26m/56-7.5 and Long
Jump: 8.02m/26-3.75.
Known as a talented long and triple jumper, Simms was a 4-time All-Met while attending Eleanor Roosevelt High in Greenbelt MD. During college Simms grabbed his first U.S. title in 2004 with his triple jump win at the 2004 USA Indoor Championships in Boston. As a USC sophomore in 2003, Simms established himself as one of the nation's best triple jumpers with a win at the NCAA Indoor Championships, his third-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and his fifth-place finish at the USA Outdoor Championships. In 2005 Simms finished runner-up at NCAA outdoor Champs and competed the World Champs placing 13th overall. He competed in the World Indoor Championships in Moscow in March 2006. Competing now for Puerto Rico he currently has the National Record. Simms is now the Sprints and Jumps coach at Heritage High School
Coach Gerard Hill: One of the best youth performance trainers in the industry. This youth advocate and sports enthusiast has been working with young people for more than a decade. Coach Hill has the compassion and the knowledge obtained from communicating and training kids in the Loudoun school system in addition to six plus years he worked as a recreation counselor for all ages. His regular involvement with young people has allowed for him to coach across various levels of competition.
His coaching experience includes junior varsity and varsity summer/fall league basketball teams. Coupled with coaching on more elite levels of play as the head AAU coach of the Loudoun stars and Ashburn heat. Coach Hill has been a resident of Northern Virginia for 15 years and is a 1998 graduate of Herndon High School. Herndon High provided some of the earliest glimpses of the moving and influential effects of a healthy sports experience. Playing basketball for one the areas most notable and winningest coaches illustrated how proper instruction is integral to the development of qualities that course throughout our lives educationally, occupationally, and athletically. After high school Coach Gerard continued to play basketball for Hiram College, in Hiram, Ohio before transferring to Mary Mount University in Arlington, VA. His knowledge is only surpassed by his heart and love for Loudoun youth. To date they have been places where he's been able to learn just as much as he has been able to share. Coach Hill is also a columnist for the "Health Nut" and the "Cool Running Times" newsletters.
